Warm it was...
Yep, the warm up came, and now it's gone. We had a rise in temperatures giving newbies to the area the false sense of spring. Even those of us that knew better were getting a touch of spring fever. Got my seeds out, ordered new ones, started looking everywhere for buds sprouting on trees...by golly the willow catkins did show some growth, and butterflies were seen coming to life. Unfortunately the weather forecast was right and this morning instead of the nice 30-40 temps, we woke to 10 and snowfall. BUT HEY...it's not -45 anymore! And did I mention daylight? It's nice to be able to drive home from work in daylight again. Still dark driving to work, but that will also change soon. So...the seeds for some of the plants will be going into starter pots in another week or so, and the local garden centers will be gearing up for the growing season with a bounty of good green stuff...ohhhhh, can't wait! Hope all of you state side are getting warmer weather also.

Ah, well, we'll be ready for spring when it comes. Alexsis and I are predominantly preoccupied with the opportunity to bike outside again, as biking inside grows a little tedious. You'll have to join us when it finally warms up!
